My Birthday Party

Hi everybody this is Lexi with my first, of what I hope many, posts.
This Friday for my birthday I had 10 girls up for a party. First we did our own rendition of Iron Chef (my mom and I were souz chefs doing whatever the teams asked us to do and my dad was the chairman), then we opened presents, played the candy bar game ( white elephant with candy bars), and played some other fun games: Ninja and The Name Game. Here our a few pictures of our excitement.

P.S. our secret ingredient for Iron Chef was bacon, but for desert it was granola

More food! ( bacon wrapped steak, rice, mixed chicken and bacon, and cauliflower with cheese sauce)

Iron chef turned out well, my friends had fun, and the food tasted outstanding. All in all Team two won by one point with their bacon wrapped steak (shown above with sides), chicken and bacon popovers ( also shown above, and berry sherbet on top of cinnamon and sugar apples sprinkled with granola.

Sorry there we no pictures of Ninja, The Name Game, or The Candy Bar Game, they were fun!!!

Just wanted to say thank you to my friends and family for all the birthday wishes. All of you made it quite special. I want to give a special thank you to my mom for sorting through mounds of pictures to find the ones she wanted and when they were taken, to post my life in pictures. Thanks Mom the time line of my life was great.
